Following the appointment of our in-house barrister, Joanne Sefton, as a full-time employment judge, we are looking for a new employment lawyer to join our busy and friendly team.
Recognised in Chambers and recently a finalist for Employment Law Firm of the Year in the Personnel Today Awards, we are a niche employment practice with a fantastic reputation with our clients and peers. We act for national and international employers including AIM-listed companies, educational establishments and household names.
Our backgrounds mean that we can offer clients the full spectrum of employment law services more typically associated with big firms. The difference is that our size and approach means that we are nimble, highly responsive and absolutely focused on delivering results for clients.
We are looking for a new colleague who is a fantastic, qualified employment lawyer, and likely to have gained experience at a major firm or chambers. PQE is less important than zest for the job, people skills and proactive approach. You will need to have experience in employment tribunal litigation and be able to advise on the range of contentious and non-contentious employment law.
This is an employed role and the successful candidate will enjoy working as part of a supportive and collaborative team. Our lawyers are all senior practitioners who work flexibly. We welcome applications from lawyers wishing to work part-time or flexibly, those considering a return from a career break, or PSLs considering a return to a client-facing role. Our offices are in rural West Wiltshire, within commuting distance of Bristol, Bath and Swindon, and we offer a mix of office and home-based working.
A client following and/or business-development experience would be an advantage, but neither is essential.
